NC Law Allows Rapists to "Finish" No Matter What

Let's say a woman consents to sex with a man and then it becomes violent and she revokes consent. Well, in North Carolina, that man can legally "finish" having sex with her no matter what. Essentially making rape legal in the state. 

There is legislation to close the loophole, though. Sign the petition to show your support for making rape illegal in North Carolina!

This is a disgusting loophole that allows rapists to pretend they are respectful, decent humans and then show their true colors without fear of legal action! As a society, we must continue to fight for legislation that backs up "no means no" thinking. This kind of loophole prioritizes a man's desire to orgasm, even if forcibly, more than a woman's right to bodily autonomy and safety.
