For a presenter on primetime TV to laugh at just the mention of an epileptic dog is totally unacceptable. This condition is a heart breaking, consuming and devastating to all involved. Owers are on the edge every minute of everyday waiting for the next seizure. Owners are up day and night and sometimes for 3-4 days/nights in a row looking after their pups, they don't take holidays abroad, some even go without things to afford the expensive medication, emergency medical treatment and constant blood tests to make sure their beloved companion is well and looked after, to give them the best quality of life that they can have. Epilepsy is a killer in both Canines and Humans and Never, Ever a laughing matter. I work hard with dedicated people to educate, Raise Awareness, Support and help owners all over the world and work hard to Raise Money for Canine Epilepsy Research so that we can get a better, safer, medication, a better understanding of the condition and hopefully one day a cure for all.
