IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE!
Communities in Ontario including Toronto, Durham Region, Richmond Hill, London, Timmins, Northumberland County, Chatham-Kent and Ottawa, and many more, are experiencing the fallout of the current opioid crisis in Ontario. We need to stand together and call for change to make our towns and cities safe again. Enough is enough!
WE NEED IMMEDIATE ACTION TO:
STOP!
● Stop allowing our elected officials to place low barrier shelters in residential areas
● Stop normalizing open and illicit drug use
● Stop operating safe injection sites
● Stop enabling drug use in our communities
● Stop exposing citizens to drug-fueled crime
● Stop ignoring public safety
Our most vulnerable community members are our children and senior citizens.
CHANGE!
● Only place high barrier shelters in residential areas
● Low barrier shelters should NOT be in residential or community areas
● Enforce stricter drug legislation and bail reforms
● Close down all safe injection sites
● Make our towns and cities safe again
This is no longer an opioid crisis.
This has now become a crisis of the loss of our rights to public safety.
