A Request for Space for Occupy Wall Street
There is no freedom in America as sacred as the freedom of speech and assembly. As recent events have shown, exercising that freedom is regularly curtailed by local laws and property rights. We now ask the Episcopal Church in America, in its mission of promoting a world of social and economic justice, to grant Occupy Wall Street unrestricted use of LentSpace on Sixth Avenue and Canal Street for as long as it is vacant, starting December 3, 2011, to practice its rights of speech and assembly.
