Demand to stop the shelters that don't have a no kill polices

I don't believe in shelters that put dogs down after just a couple of days. I think that if a dog is not sick or that's not any threat,shouldn't be put down. There is a child or a parent who would love to have a pet, but can't afford the outrageous prices some shelters charge for a pet. I understand that these places have to make money to afford to keep them in business. But, not an arm or leg. Maybe we could just lower these prices..
