Dear Trader Joes,
We are urging you to remove the toxic, fake fragrances from your products. We rely on you to be a leader in healthy products, and the inclusion of "parfum" and "fragrance" in your popular hand soap and dishwashing liquids is unacceptable.
As the article attached here indicates, these are not safe for our health. Ironically, you advertise your products as "biodegradable" and "hypoallergenic." Your labels "natural" are also misleading; this is known as "greenswashing," something that gives the impression of healthy and environmentally safe but isn't.
As you might know, there is no way to know what is in your "fragrance" and "parfum," but from what I've learned they are likely not good for us, nor benign.
I and the undersigned refuse to buy your products any longer until you remove the likely harmful ingredients from your products.
Please be a responsible trend-setter and make the change. Thank you.
