Donald Trump is the next president of the United States. But we must ensure that he does not think that voters support his extreme anti-environment agenda. They do not.
Voters do not support turning back the clock on the environmental safeguards that protect our water, land, and air. They do not support returning to the day when Big Polluters pillaged our natural resources for profits with impunity. And they certainly do not support retreating in our urgent fight against climate change.

When you took the oath of office on January 20, you became the representative of all Americans. And Americans do not agree with your assertions that climate change is a hoax; that we should immediately withdraw from the Paris climate agreement; that we should roll back decades of environmental protections; or that we should bring back the Keystone XL pipeline while dramatically expanding fracking, coal mining, and oil and gas drilling.
I urge you to abandon these and other anti-environment statements that would roll back the clock on the environmental safeguards that protect our water, land, air and climate.
