Bunnies are beautiful, innocent and loving animals that directly compare to our most sought after pets, cats and dogs.
These amazing animals are kept in horrific, filthy, crammed, harsh wire floored cages, and display intense fear at the hands of heartless meat farmers. I have personally witnessed this, having purchased over 15 rabbits from various meat farmers in Alberta and found them all loving homes! In my care, they went from being terrified at the touch of a hand to gentle, curious, super friendly and purring little beings! How could anyone with a heart allow this act to continue in our wonderful country of Canada? Would anyone be able to see their beloved pet treated this awful and then cruelly slaughtered for a meal?
Please urge our country to end this inhumane farming and make it illegal and save these incredible little creatures from torture and death of such horrendous money making meat farmers' hands!!
