If we are to not change our world in terms of our global carbon footprint, we are guaranteed to come face to face with catastrophe . If we were to continue this path, we may end up confronting problems too immense to handle. This article highlights the research given by multiple climate change experts and numerical data such as “The majority of C02 emitted from burning a single tonne of coal or oil today will be absorbed over a few centuries by the oceans and vegetation, the remaining 25% will still be affecting the climate in 1,000 years.” and information from the Copenhagen Diagnosis, a report created by 26
leading climate scientists with the aim of updating the world on findings since the publication of the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report (2007). This being said,I wish to make Guelph more enviornmentally friendly as even a small change is still a change and can incite larger movements. I hope you are to help impliment more E-cars, reduce waste and have campanies in Guelph commit to stricter regulation's on their waste management and pollutant secretion.I hope you appeal to this and work to make Guelph more Ecofriendly community.
