Our friend Lauren, from Sheffield, had her 7 year old Staffie cross Buster seized approximately two months ago. Buster has been assessed by the police and labelled as a "pit bull type" and Lauren attended court on 7th October, charged under Section 4b of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. The police are now seeking a destruction order. As Lauren was unrepresented by a solicitor the case was adjourned until 4th November 2016.
She now has Parry, Walsh, Lacey Solicitors representing her and advising her to have an independent assessment done on Buster. The legal fees for just the defence part ALONE is estimated at £1,500 and assessment fee of £1,400, making the ransom total nearly £3000.
PLEASE sign and share our petition to help both Lauren AND Buster. They’ve done no wrong but yet again, this ridiculous B.S.L. law is causing heartache. Let’s get Buster home where he belongs. Thanks in advance xx
