Every year horses and ponies are abused, neglected, mistreated, frightened, malnourished and sold in their neglected state at the Lammas Fair by horse dealers/traders who have no regard for the welfare of animals. This abuse and mistreatment needs to end. To find out more, please check with the local animal welfare organization Crosskennan Lane animal sanctuary at http://www.crosskennanlane.org.uk/.
