Time for action !! Include Climate education in California schools

I am a high schooler and passionate about climate change and its impact. I strongly feel that climate education should be part of the core curriculum in our schools.

The state of New Jersey has paved the way by adding climate education as part of their core curriculum for K-12 schools.

We want to empower the next generation with the knowledge and the know how so they understand, 'Yes, this is a problem. But guess what? This is how we can solve it.' Learning the basics of climate science and embedding this throughout the core curriculum can help students make informed decisions to improve their quality of life and community — or even one day solve the problem.

I am inviting you to sign this petition to ask California state board of education officials to consider adding climate education to our schools core curriculum.
