Save Chicks From the Shredder

Male chicks don't have much of a future in commerical egg hatchieries. Now, activists have recorded male chicks being shoved into a shredder and heartlessly destroyed en masse. They were one day old.

And  this practice is not only legal in Australia, it's commonly practiced. Hatcheries get away with shredding chicks because they have, for the most part, been able to keep it away from the watchful eyes of the public. The new recording of chicks maceration is the first of its kind. 

Please join me in asking the government of Australia to make wholesale destruction of chicks via maceration or any other means illegal.
