Resurrect Hawk Island Snow Park (Lansing, MI)

Hawk Island Snow Park was once a joint entrepreneurial venture between Ingham County Parks and Gateway Parks. Located in Lansing, Michigan this ski hill was founded with the goal of bringing an accessible skiing/snowboarding/tubing hill to the people of Lansing and surrounding areas. Since the skiing and snowboarding side of the hill closed in the spring of 2014 skiers and snowboards from the Lansing area have been left without a place to ride. We would like to see Ingham County Parks one again open the Hawk Island Snow Park with or without Gateway Parks partnership for skiers and snowboarders young and old alike to enjoy.
