Noncompliance septic tanks in UP need better inspections and water testing updated Now
I live at 5603 Grandview Dr W University Place Wa 98467 The Septic Tank was having back up issues constantly the lanord refused to acknowledge most issues .A report was given to Pierce County Health Department By the septic company that services the tank and by a Gary Swarm not a tenant. The Landlord and Pierce County Housing Authority have been very uncaring as far as our health to the family tenants and The community for golf course 5mile walking /Park close Neighbors Wildlife dogs Cats as well as the Health Department.A third noncompliant notice issues to landlord .Landlord has done nothing to keep us safe sanitary and .oved us until issue fixed complies and reinspected. Tenants Tempting to move out on own lose section 8voucher due to Noncompliance by landlords. Attempted 4diff unit's all refused us due to income disabilities and help by outside antities to help pay new rent deposits screaming fees.half stuff in storage. No place to live. Attorney attempting to help has only made issue worse at this point .Housings homeless committee leader just refuses to see abuse in anyway . Landlords paid housing share abaitment supposedly lifted. Tenants seen no paperwork on this . Septic tank drain field still having issues smells pee poo showing now and major work done on system .no one was to be in home to rent or buy since 2004.why did the health department not keep checking back and serve third notice with proper timing. Landlord puts large rocks in backyard to stop people cars from going back there. 2motor homes one truck all belong to landlords and friends. This is a single family Dwelling. All this ok with Up City officials and PCHA,....Concern tenants have rashes dizzyness eye trouble upset stomach diarrhea vomiting stomach cramps tiredness overly all due to breathing eating everything contaminated with human and wildlife waste.Death if this continues. I want Better Health Department Rules and regulations and more in depth inspections not just driving up getting out look from a distance inspections. I want HUDand Housing Authorities to send own inspectors with knowledge tools test and paper files kept with said agencies. I want real Proof the Syptic System is repaired or closed off and unit hooked to city water. Landlord just saying A O K is no longer an choIce. A reputable company and Tenant given all info as well.I want a notice to public posted on unit home and at any park or store or major people traffic and animal traffic to know that yard home unit unsafe. Extensions only if owner already showing good intentions .24 Notices from all who come on property to deal with syptic issue. And all check in and sign a sign in sheet with tenant.to be posted and returned copies for all agencies involved.modt of all respect to the Tenant Immediate transfer to a safe place by the Health Department s the owners tHUD and housing Authorities if tenant on housing. If children I n home when transferred stay in same school and transported by bus.If Disabled Individuals involved bring in Adult and Protective Services and C.p.s.for children and a mental health counselor free of charge to tenant .The Electric bills water bills and Trash bills Sewer. Bills from time of second Noncompliance letter from Health Department Be Owners full Responsibility.The wild life protectors involved. The land tested and all neiboring homes Land water tested at owners expense and if neighbors are affected in anyway it's at owners expense by second Noncompliance.All Syptic Companies must communicate to owners,Tenants and Community if repairs that r noted r not done by dasignated time everyone affected I formed of issue and health related issues that could or will result from abusive unsafe unsanitary mistreated syptic systems and the owners who chose not to see the Health and safety of Tenants.,Community.Fined and possible loss of property. 2Different inspectors on case can only inspect one time .If Heath Department Does not send Noncompliance papers and serve on proper time limits the Health Department Employee Responsible is put on 3day unpaid leave first violation 2nd & Third 5Day unpaid and back to training classes. After 4 same employee issue not communicating or serving or inspecting properly . Didmissel of employment. Due to the Extreme Health concerns issues.Safty Sanitary for community and Tenants Guests owners wildlife Aid Animals family pets should be #1. The owners feelings thoughts rules are just that .,the owners . The Community has the Right to live a safe sanitary clean land water and piece of mind. That is why there areh Health Departments and Rules.Any loss of any kind caused.by another person's Choices is a loss to all and compensated for such lose. Chose not to comply or choose to care about the Tenant ,Tenants Lives Matter Too I would like a safe sanitary affordable place to live with no retaliation for my intire family. I and my family would like to volunteer at the PCHD and the PCHA to help get these chenges underway and keep cost to changed as low as possible and a shout out to the community Volunteer it does make a big impact on Positive Choices.
