Rent Control in North Las Vegas, Las Vegas and the greater metroplitan Area

Rent has been steadily increasing in the Las Vegas area and is growing out of control. Two-bedroom apartments are going for over $1300 a month which is more than most homeowners pay for mortgage. I believe a cap on rent that can be charged for various size apartments should be capped. Studio apartments should lease no higher than $600 a month, one bedroom no higher than $800 a month, two-bedroom one-bath no higher than $1000, two bedroom two-bathroom no higher than $1200 a month and three-bedrooms no more than $1500 a month.
