Be a Hero for Hens

Good for hens, farmers, and consumers, the Egg Products Inspection Act Amendments of 2012 (H.R. 3798/S. 3239) is critical legislation that would improve the lives of 280 million egg-laying hens. It will essentially double the minimum amount of space for each bird, prohibit starving the birds to manipulate their egg-laying cycle, and require on-carton labeling so consumers know how hens are raised.
