Seat Belt Ticket Law Unconstitutional
Please sign to protect your rights, Nationwide. Would you like it if someone looked into your living room window and gave you a ticket for eating a food that may or may not be harmful in the future? Did you know that the police themselves are EXEMPT from wearing seat belts? In the mid 1980's many states began the seat belt ticket law. I believe this law infringes on our rights. Wearing a Seat Belt should remain YOUR CHOICE, not something we're FORCED to do.

Your Honor, with all due respect, we the undersigned feel that the state seat belt law is Unconstitutional and infringes on our rights as Americans. We ask that this law be repealed. In doing this, the police can fight more crime and create good will with law abiding citizens. While the average law abiding citizen should love the police, the truth is, many feel harassed by them. Please help put a stop to this and restore our trust in the legal system.
