Ask Irish Gov. to say NO to IGB proposals

- destinatario: Department Of Agriculture Fisheries and Food Ireland.
As recently denied approval for exporting greyhounds to China, due to global pressure from greyhound welfare campaigners, The Irish Greyhound Board is now seeking permission from the Irish Government to set up a separate international arm to manage dog tracks in China.A third party country will be needed to 'supply' greyhounds for this sickening IGB 'business' venture.China has NO animal welfare laws. This means the greyhounds WILL endure inevitable abuse.Tens of thousands of more greyhounds WILL be killed in a most appalling way in their retirement,as any adoption program in China will be impossible to set up.We,the undersigned, ask the Dept. of Agriculture Fisheries and Food Ireland to DENY the IGB approval for their latest proposals, and any future proposals of exporting a greyhound industry. We,the undersigned, ask The Irish Government NOT to involve themselves or the Irish tax-payers in the setting up/exporting of an abusive industry.
Dear Minister,We the undersigned are horrified at the thought of the IGB's approach and proposals to your department to seek permission to set up an international arm to build and manage greyhound racing tracks in China.Your department is fully aware of the GLOBAL concerns and outcry for any greyhound welfare issues in China,a country as you will, now, know that has NO animal welfare laws.A country, then, where abuse of greyhounds WILL be inevitable.A country that would NOT be able to set up any adoption program for retired greyhounds.
http://www.greytexploitations.com/resources-and-reports/the-dogs-who-run-for-their-livesWe,the undersigned ask your department NOT to approve any business plans put to you by the IGB.We ask your department NOT to allow the exportation of an industry that already has far too many welfare concerns and issues.
