With the Australian election on the horizon, it’s time for Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Opposition Leader Tony Abbott to take Climate Change seriously. Over the last 10 months, Australia has recorded its hottest day, its hottest week, its hottest month and its hottest summer on record. Furthermore, Australia is one of the leading producers of greenhouse gases with CO2 emissions nearly twice (per capita) the OECD average and more than four times the world average. This is due to Australia's economic reliance on fossil fuels - especially coal and gas exports. It’s time for the leaders of Australia to take action on Climate Change.
