Ewing shelter under the auspices of EASEL, with their large group of volunteers, have done an amazing job in rescuing over 300 animals a year. Their work has kept Ewing as a no kill shelter. Now the current Health officer, Sharon Kissel wants to change all of that. She wants to cut shelter hours and hours of adoption, eliminate/reduce volunteer work which provides dog walking, adoption days and training for the dogs and ultimately turn the shelter into a kill shelter. We need for Ewing Township officials to hear our voice and keep EASEL and its current policies in place
