Three Dogs Dead, Seventeen More Starving. Ban These Negligent Individuals From Owning Animals Again.

In Putnam County, West Virginia, authorities recently uncovered a nightmarish scene of animal neglect and starvation. Twenty dogs were found on a property in what Sheriff Bobby Eggleton described as "deplorable" conditions. The animals were malnourished, lethargic, and suffering - and tragically, three of the dogs did not survive.

It's our responsibility to protect these vulnerable animals from such heartless treatment. Help us urge West Virginia officials to enforce a lifetime ban on animal ownership for these individuals. Sign the petition now.

When deputies arrived, they discovered two dead dogs lying on the property, with one more dying shortly afterwards while in transit to safety. The only visible food source for the starved dogs appeared to be a dead deer carcass that was hanging in a barn.

As if the neglect weren't enough, authorities also found an illegally possessed firearm on the property, underscoring these pet owners' broader disregard for laws and safety.

The two individuals involved are now facing charges for this appalling mistreatment of animals. But we need to make sure to protect other animals from facing this kind of deadly neglect and malnourishment. These individuals should never be allowed to own or care for animals again.

Sign this petition to demand that West Virginia authorities permanently bar these individuals from ever owning, living with, or working with animals again.
