After the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster, 100,000 offshore activists joined hands across the world to draw a literal and figurative line in the sand against offshore drilling. This has become an annual tradition, as some in Congress continue to push for a massive expansion of offshore drilling. This year we will join together on August 4 to reaffirm our opposition to offshore drilling and to support clean energy.
