Are you tired of the unceasing hot rod and motorcycle noise on Shoreline and Ocean Blvd.?
Tired of the screeching rubber, revving engines and impromptu drag races?
Are you tired of loud noise and partying and drinking at the Alamitos Beach parking lot? (Police need to shut this Lot down after 10:00pm, it's the law).
Do you find yourself closing all your windows because of this constant noise day and night?
Do you think you have the Right to some peace where you live?
Do you think that if police do not enforce noise ordinances, parking ordinances and DUI that things will just get worse? (Drinking at Alamitos Beach at night is now common place).
Other cities have clamped down on these activities but Long Beach has not.
I believe we have a right to some peace. Please sign the petition so it can be directed to the mayor, police and council.
I have contacted city leaders and agency's numerous times and gotten favorable responses. After we get the signatures I will push city leaders for change. This is the first step. Do not be disuaded by any comments from signers that say this is a lost cause. It is not!
A parking control arm has been installed at the Alamitos Beach parking lot!
Now the police need to do their job. Ticket and remove illegal mini bikes that speed along Shoreline every afternoon and on weekends. STOP IGNORING THIS.
Ticket vehicles with loud modified exhaust. Backfires. Reving engines etc.
Enforce the Nuisance code. Do something. Write tickets. Quit ignoring what is going on. Get out of your police cruiser and do your job.
Please. We need the police to help us!
