Stop The Sale Of Live Animals For Reptile "Food"
Many pet shops and garden shops sell live rodents and insects to feed to snakes and other reptiles. Quite often the shops selling the live "food" also sells the same species of animals but for people to buy as pets rather than to feed their snake with. Feeding of live insects and rodents is completely unnecessary and is extremely inhumane, there are alternative ways of feeding reptiles which don't involve as great an amount of suffering as putting a live mouse or rat in a tank with a snake would, such as feeding frozen food for example. This cruelty should end. Sign the petition now.
We would like you to stop selling live animals as food for snakes and other reptiles, there are alternatives available, such as frozen food, and by selling them instead it minimises suffering. Please end this cruelty now and encourage people to buy frozen food instead of live.
