Supernatural has one of the biggest and best fan followings for a television show of our time. There are multiple conventions held around the world that celebrate the show, characters, actors and bring the fans together. Last year, Creation hosted a Supernatural convention in Nashville, TN, and announced it would be the last in that location. Unfortunately, this leaves the southeast at a disadvantage, causing a dedicated fan to have to travel almost a thousand miles to the nearest convention. We're asking Creation to bring a convention to Atlanta, GA, for 2013. Atlanta is a huge city, rich in cultural diversity and is commonly known as "The New York City of the South". The city is rampant with venue options to support the convention and already hosts hundreds of conventions throughout the year. Bringing the convention to Atlanta would allow fans in the southeast to attend, because it's centrally located in the heart of the southeast.
Atlanta is also home to Hartsfield-Jackson airport, which is one of the world's largest international airports, and is a mere ten miles from downtown Atlanta. The airport provides easy access from all parts of the country and with an easy to navigate mass transit system that stops inside the airport, convention goers do not need to worry about transportation or renting a car to get from the airport to the host hotel. Atlanta has previously hosted the 1996 Summer Olympics and is home to amazing sites and places such as the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, the Coca Cola Museum, Atlanta Zoo and the CNN Center, to name a few.
