A puppy named Ditto was murdered by Craig Standridge in front of the children that owned Ditto. Ditto did not die right away as the bullet went through his head and lodged into his spine causing a very painful death. This gentleman has a history of gun violence against humans as well. On April 21 Craig's attorney, Michael Ice, filed a motion to dismiss the case. Animal cruelty in Martinsville cannot be tolerated or turned a blind eye to. Please sign this petition asking Judge Foley to consider the full punishment to the extent of the law for this felony. The violence endangers the lives of people and animals in Martinsville and cannot not be condoned.
Dear Honorable Judge Foley,
The people of Morgan County are humbled by your decision to decline the motion to dismiss the charges against Craig Standridge in case #55D01-1510-F6-001480. Before you had ordered the motion to be denied, we had started a petition which you will find attached. As you can see, people from Indiana, the US, and the world are taking this case seriously. We have submitted this to you, Your Honor, to show that your decision to continue the proceedings against Craig Standridge has not gone unnoticed. We sincerely hope that the Prosecutor's office will represent the people of Morgan County by vigorously pursuing a conviction and maximum jail sentence and that our state laws will be upheld.
Thank your for your time and consideration.

We cannot thank you enough for your support! The sentencing of Craig Standridge happened today. Craig pled guilty and Judge Foley sentenced him to 1 year in jail, 1 year of house arrest, and 1 year of probation. This is a huge victory for Ditto (RIP sweet boy) and hopefully sets a precedent for future animal abuse cases in Morgan County. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone far and wide who took the time to fight for justice. Keep signing petitions because your voices count.
