Labelling of GM food in Singapore

GM food can harm our bodies in ways yet unknown, and somehow that seems far more threatening compared to being aware of these ways. Production of GM food also contributes indirectly to environmental issues.

Yet, here in Singapore, we are unable to discern which foodstuffs are gentetically modified. Not only are we unaware of possible harms, we are also unable to exercise our right to free choice.

The European Union, Australia and Japan, among many other nation states, have already mandated compulsory labelling of GM food. Singapore should too.
