Help stop the wolf slaughter!

Wolves are being killed because humans are leaving food around and because Canada's National Parks aren't preventing the problem. The Bow Valley Pack lives in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, and has become increasingly attracted to human food and garbage left at campsites. Even though the wolves have not been aggressive toward humans, Park officials recently killed the alpha female and now one of the yearlings who were foraging around the campsites. Wolves are highly socially bonded and function as a cohesive group, with the alpha male and female anchoring the pack. Now the alpha female is dead and cannot help the pack survive.
Wolves in Canada are under a plethora of threats, including being slaughtered en masse in a misguided attempt to protect caribou. The predator/prey relationship is not the cause of the caribou's demise, but rather the tar sands industry destroying their breeding grounds and habitat. The wolves are paying the price.
Given these facts, demand that the governments of Canada and Alberta leave the wolves in our parks alone. These parks should first and foremost provide a sanctuary for wildlife. Demand that the affected campsites be closed down until the wolves decide to leave. With no food rewards, and perhaps some harmless harassment techniques, the next generation might learn not to forage there.
Demand that the Trudeau and Notley governments stop perpetuating the hubris that got the Conservative party voted out in both levels of government.
Thank you for stepping up for the wolves.
