For J.D. Vance to repeatedly refer to Chinese people as "peasants" reflects a serious anti-Asian bias, and by acting on that bias in public with a verbally announced racial/socio-economic slur - it escalated from J.D. Vance's sad but personal "bias" to actual unlawful "discrimination" for an American public official, which is totally unacceptable. Maybe it is true there are many poor Chinese people, and many of them may be from a rural life - that does not mean it is o.k. to use slur language against them. One thing for sure, is that the Chinese would be deeply offended, and what have they done against us ? Slaved away to keep Wal-Mart fully stocked with nice clothing ? Toiled to keep Home Depot well stocked with a fully array of well-made nuts and bolts for sale ? What exactly did they do against us, other than being Chinese, poor, and many of them rural ? For a sitting American Vice President to have done that kind of crass discrimination, in public, voiced repeatedly - is disgraceful and shameful, and for that J.D. Vance should resign his office immediately.
