Glue traps inflict prolonged and excruciating suffering on animals. The creatures caught in these traps endure a slow and agonizing death from thirst, hunger, suffocation, or blood loss, all while in a state of panic.
International councils on animal care universally recognize the capacity of animals to experience pain and suffering. Why are hardware stores permitted to disregard basic standards of decency and continue to sell such inhumane products when less cruel alternatives exist?
Let us persuade Home Depot, Canadian Tire, and Reno that the sale of glue traps is shockingly inhumane and shameful.
