Demand Law for Criminal proceedings against illegal chopping of trees

We as beings cannot survive without the process of respiration and Trees are the ONLY source who produce the essential Oxygen to facilitate this process. Hence our survival is primarily dependent on Trees. However, in the names of development, progress and what not, we have been habituated in chopping them down unnecessarily.
We need to understand that any amount of chopping is undesirable and detrimental for the environment as well as for our survival. However, despite knowing the facts, we have not stopped the malpractice of cutting or chopping the trees.
Moreover why the Department of Forest is giving permission to cut trees for the sake of several kinds of developmental works when trees can be transplanted? A single human being inhales atleast 15 to 16 kg oxygen everyday.It is provided by 2 to 3 trees. the present population of the world is almost 7 billion. According to the Arbor Day Foundation, "a mature leafy tree produces as much oxygen in a season as 10 people inhale in a year." "A single mature tree can absorb carbon dioxide at a rate of 48 lbs./year and release enough oxygen back into the atmosphere to support 2 human beings."
"One acre of trees annually consumes the amount of carbon dioxide equivalent to that produced by driving an average car for 26,000 miles. That same acre of trees also produces enough oxygen for 18 people to breathe for a year." A 100-ft tree, 18" diameter at its base, produces 6,000 pounds of oxygen.""On average, one tree produces nearly 260 pounds of oxygen each year. Two mature trees can provide enough oxygen for a family of four."
Which kind of developmental project can replace that much of oxygen resource? What is the exact plan of the government to restore that much oxygen in the air?
If the citizens can not survive, who will enjoy the benefits arisen from the development? Transplantetation is a must one. Though it is expensive but our citizen's lives are more expensive than that.
NO MORE CUTTING OF TREES. SINGLE TREE CUT, THOUSANDS LIVES SUFFERRED. PROTEST TOGETHER TO SURVIVE TOGETHER.
As the responsible citizen, our duty is to protest against any illegal cutting or chopping wherever seen. And we feel the Government has something to do in this context as well. Our country do not have any strict law which prohibits a person to refrain from this Eco-disastrous activity.
Hence we demand that cutting or chopping a tree for any cause should be stopped and if such activity has taken place, we should have a stricter law which identifies the people associated with this mischievous act as criminals. and the punishment for such crime should be stricter too. As effects of their activities for Pseudo Development which is leading the civilization to its most primitive stage with all negativities and will leave nothing for our upcoming generation.
