Ever since Trump began running for office in 2016, his rabid fans have inflicted a reign of terror on Trump's critics and those who refuse to bow down before him. Everyone and anyone who speaks out against Trump can expect to be flooded with death threats and hateful, vile harassment — often egged on by Trump himself.
Cassidy Hutchinson, the Meadows aide who became a national icon with her stunning testimony to the January 6th committee, is the latest victim of the ferocious Trump mob. She's been sequestered with her family and a security detail ever since, a testament to just how eager Trump World is to issue threats of political violence to silence critics and protect their criminal leader.
Enough is enough. Tell the DOJ to take action against those making threats against Trump critics!
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger refused to help Trump "find votes," so Trump fans barraged his wife with horrifying, sexualized messages and broke into the home of his son's widow. Arizona House Speaker Russell "Rusty" Bowers had protestors outside his house with weapons, playing videos calling him a pedophile. Election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea ArShaye "Shaye" Moss had their lives upended by harassment and threats.
This is beyond unacceptable. Ordinary people shouldn't have to live in fear from a would-be despot simply for doing the right thing.
