Protect the Children

After doing some research I was surprised to hear of just how many innocent people are affected by this and how many peoples lives torn apart......

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you because I have become aware of a situation that must be put to a stop. You have the power to make a difference in this situation. I implore you to search your concience and ask that you do not turn a blind eye to this matter. I am sure you heard the story before. I am talking about the Bayne family.
On October 22, 2007 Paul and Zabeth Bayne's 3 children were taken away from them due to accusation that as of today remain to be unfounded. In the mean time, their youngest child (whom the accusations were based around) is suffering from a medical condition that is known to be life threatening (also known to mimic the symptoms of SBS), and she is not receiving medical treatment.
The Bayne family currently has eight completed and submitted experts reports that confirm their innocence to any abuse. These experts include: ophthalmologists, neuroradiologists, abuse specialist pediatricians, forensic pathologists, hematologists and biomechanics. They have ten more specialists that are currently reviewing their medical records and will be submitting their reviews shortly.
Regardless of the above submissions, the countless character reference letters, the petitions from the community and the obvious bond between the children and their parents, the Ministry has maintained its position. They require the parents to admit to guilt and if they don't do this, it is viewed as being uncooperative, as being a sign of denial and thus guilt and the actions of parents that are not truly interested in the best for their children.
Ideally the officials would take the opportunity to simply apologize for their error and just return the children to the Bayne family. The family have made it clear that they would not hold the authorities in question accountable if they just did the right thing and corrected the mistakes that have already occurred.
But at the very least the youngest child should be seen by the doctors of her parents choice. I do not see how this would be a problem unless the authorities involved were trying to conceal something. This child is not being treated for a medical condition! Even if the authorities disagree, surely they would want to make certain whether the child was suffering (unnecessarily) with a condition that should be treated? This would at least put the public at ease knowing that indeed the CHILD'S best interest was at heart (like they claim) rather than their own agenda/interests. Seeing a random doctor is not enough clearly. This child requires specialist attention and anything less is simply unacceptable.

The children have been in an unstable situation ever since being taken away from their family home (it is my understanding that the boys have been in at least 4 different homes). How can the authorities involved claim that the children's best interest is at heart? Their actions and statements have shown otherwise.
As I stated previously: You have the power to make a difference in this situation. I implore you to search your conscience and ask that you do not turn a blind eye to this matter.
This situation will not go away and the public will not be satisfied until the ill child is at least proven to be healthy, by EXPERTS of the parents choice (these are well known doctors and respected within the medical community). A differential diagnosis must be made, by experts that have experience with these things.
These helpless innocent children deserve no less.
