Expose the Truth: Demand Justice for Farmed Animals

Imagine being a pig on a farm. What comes to mind? Maybe images of rolling green fields, picturesque red barns or laying contentedly in the sun?
Sadly, factory farms and breeding facilities make for a far more disturbing reality, one in which these smart, sensitive animals are forced to live in dangerous conditions, enduring near-unimaginable cruelty behind closed doors — too much of which remains legally permissible under current law.
There is no doubt that farmed animals endure immense suffering, especially since there are no federal laws governing the conditions in which most of these animals are raised, and anti-cruelty laws go unenforced on factory farms.
The Animal Legal Defense Fund has fought before the U.S. Supreme Court to defend California's groundbreaking law ending cruel confinement of mother pigs, egg-laying hens, and calves raised for veal in the state (Prop 12). And we've challenged some of the biggest industrial animal agriculture giants for misleading consumers on the treatment (or rather the mistreatment) of the animals used in their products.
But there's still more work to do. We need your help to end this cruelty and to hold the factory farm industry accountable!
Please sign if you believe that farmed animals deserve to be free from cruelty.
