These commercials that this company puts on the air advertised that EVERYONE IS APPROVED! not true! You've got these impressionable teenagers excited to go get their first car!!!! BECAUSE.... I WILL BE APPROVED!! then they get down there and there is always something that their doing to lure you in! I got an APPROVED notice in my email and all the income that I have is SSDI (social security disability) $740 mo. We drove from Longmont Colorado to Lakewood Colorado (off Colfax) it took approximately 50 minutes to get there. Then, I walk in with my trade in 2002 Oldsmobile Intregue with a clear title. The salesman sat down and said well, with your income we won't be able to get you into a car without more income!!!! Wow!!! I was so angry!! I got APPROVED with the information that I left on the income amount when inquiring about drive time approval!! So needless to say, went home, talked to my fiance and decided to put his (temporary) job income down and see if that worked. So we drove back down to Lakewood and poof...all of a sudden.... I'M APPROVED!!! Well, then the nightmare began with major problems with the car!! They let us drive off the lot with only 3 break's!! Starter went out...(that's another petition that I (and 100's other's) have going with drive time!! So..I don't want a first time car dealership experience be that way (a big let down after your hope's were up) Dreams for a kid's first car....please my friends and people who are willing to make a difference in this world.. Sign!! P.S. when I was walking out of drive time, I did see a kid about 18 years old with his head down and his mom saying "I'm sorry sweetie, the commercial said... APPROVED, no matter what, we can get you in a car today!!!" My heart broke for that young kid!! This is such a money market that doesn't give a crap what they have to advertise...as long as they make the buck!!! (We're all not mentally or taught/experienced to read the fine print in a commercial that's up for appoxemently 3 seconds. And not only that, but in my case....knowing my income... And telling me that I was APPROVED with what I made each month!! Well, I might not be 18 years old hoping to buy my first car, but I sure felt like he did being turned away the first time!! Good thing my friend... You wouldn't want a car from them anyway!! You people at drive time are dream crushers!!!! Goodbye to businesses like this!!! Thanks for your time!
