Wimp.com wasn't just any website. It stood out in it's way of delivering both funny and serious content to it's viewers: it's hallmark features where both that it hosted it's own content rather than leaching or linking off other sites and it was completely ad free. However, when the guys at dump.com showed up that all changed: first it was the deceiving "ads" cleverly disguised as links to specific media that was supposed to be hosted on wimp but instead linked to dump's main page. This apparently did little to promote a web page no one was interested in, so every time the wimp page was taken down for various reasons the url instead linked everyone to dump.com. This tactic apparently also proved fruitless, so what did they do? They had their selves a little hostile takeover, and wimp.com has ceased to exist. Now wimp's large following is forced to be linked to dump (which it most certainly is). Most likely all the content that was hosted on this great site is gone, some of the footage hosted here was native only to wimp and now it is lost. Either way, wimp.com can make a comeback, so what are you waiting for? Sign this petition now so that it can be mailed off to dump.com, maybe they will have a change of heart and bring back our wonderful site. If that be not the case, then the second option will be to acquire what may be left of the content, purchase the domain from dump.com, and attempt to set up a donation system to keep wimp going add fee.
