Tell Akal Security to Sever Ties with ICE

As a community of conscience, we call on the Siri Singh Sahib Corporation (SSSCorp) and Akal Security, Inc., to immediately divest from all financial interest in ICE in order to end any profiting or appearance of profiting from mass incarceration & detention. We also call on SSSCorp and Akal Security to eliminate any business relationships, associations, and contracts associated with the detention of human beings in the prison-industrial complex, which disproportionately affects communities of color including immigrants and now asylum seekers. The non-profit Sikh Dharma ministry already performs seva in these detention spaces for humanitarian purposes, which is the appropriate vehicle to perform this function.

Further, we call on SSSCorp to immediately establish a system of transparency by which the members of our community may review the fiscal practices between the SSSCorp and its associated for-profit and non-profit businesses for the sole purpose of evaluating the source of financing for our 3HO activities.

This is OUR community. We must hold ourselves accountable for its shape and its integrity. Let us seek change from a place of compassion, trust, and consciousness. Let our actions going forward be aligned with Aquarian Age principles of openness, collaboration, inclusion, and upliftment.
