Do away with the pacer test in schools!

The pacer test (if you dont know) is a test in which students in p.e. have to run back and forth between a great distance, this test is to see how many laps the student can do. I just dont understand why this is a required thing in SCHOOLS, isnt school where your supposed to get a good education? Not test your endurance by running back and forth from a 15 to 20 foot distance, plus when students arent able to do many laps thwy are often made fun of because of it this is a school not basic training in the corps.
