Water bodies are an important factor on this Planet they are connected to the oceans plus rivers and once they get cut out there will be an improper ecological imbalance which in turn will affect the entire World. In a country like Bangladesh there used to be over 54 canals but now, they are on the brink of extinction and the situation clearly is very critical. Canals are being filled and then grabbed by a handful of greedy people who automatically becomes filthy rich at the cost of Natures irreparable loss and the Government as well as the so called "Environmental Organisations" in Bangladesh are not doing their job right but making a bunch of lousy commitment's which they never can keep let alone execute, as yet in the interim another canal has to die instead of seeing the light of Justice. What is lacking in the system is strong determination, Is it because the Nation is ruled by those who dont, for obvious reasons, understand the meaning called Eco-System or give a damn to protect it? Time is now to act upon... I strongly urge everyone from everywhere to step forward and help reclaim the already encroached Waterbodies from further self-destructing the environment.
