This Christmas, Compassion In World Farming (CIWF), the British-based animal welfare charity has promised its members that we get to choose which farm animal injustice they should fight for.

Bangladesh has a billion dollar leather industry. It exports leather to Europe, USA, China, Canada and Australia. Behind the expensive leather goods, you find in Milan, Rome, Paris and New York lies a bloody and cruel leather trade.
India exports tens of thousands of cattle into neighbouring Bangladesh. After enduring a long and cruel journey, the emaciated cattle meet a fate worse than death. Many will be skinned alive in slaughterhouses adjacent to the large tanneries that supply the world with leather.
We the under signed, urge Compassion In World Farming, to start a huge campaign to shame the Indian government into taking action. CIWF has had huge success in the past with such campaigns. The cow is scared to the Hindus, and most ordinary Indians are unaware of India's live export trade. CIWF would outrage ordinary Indians into taking action if only they knew about this evil trade.
We urge CIWF to put huge pressure on the EU Trade Commissioner to ban all leather imports from Bangladesh. Come on CIWF stop ignoring my emails! You made a promise to us. Urge India to ban live exports to Bangladesh!
