The University of North Florida has a responsibility as an innovate leader in Jacksonville to uphold a high standard of critical thinking regarding the truths behind inhumane business practices. As an institution of higher education there is an expectation that you would use discrepancy in allowing certain vendors to rent the campus for business purposes. It is well documented that circuses utilizing animals for entertainment acts have a recorded history of abuse and neglect, so we must ask, "Why are you allowing the Piccadilly Circus to perform two shows on July 26, 2012?"
