"The BUAV has uncovered a new airline involved in the transportation of primates for research. Last year, Brazil’s and Latin America's largest airline, TAM Linhas Aereas, flew eleven marmoset monkeys from Brazil to the University of Nebraska in the USA. "
We, the undersigned, DEMAND TAM Linhas Aéreas and TAM CARGO to immediately STOP transporting any animals whatsoever for this sordid finality.
We will BOYCOTT your company and promote a very NEGATIVE campaign of it throughtout the world until you review your previous decision to profit from animal abuse.
With ou without IBAMA's license, which should now better than to allow this sordid animal traffic.
These monkeys are from a wild species to which it should offered PROTECTION, instead of even further abuse.
Animals are not "things" to be used to the benefit of unethical and outdated 'research methods", for which there are plenty of scientific alternatives.

NO ANIMAL should be submitted to such unethical and senseless abuse.
