We are asking that if she is found guilty, she receives the appropriate punishment possible along with a ban on future pet and animal ownership or care.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was summoned to a home on Loop Road in Auburndale, Florida where they discovered more than 80 animals in horrific condition. The home owner, Ms. Fuchs was taken into custody and the animals seized. Charges are pending while authorities complete their investigation to determine if she is guilty of animal abuse, cruelty and neglect.
The Polk County Sheriff state that six horses, five cows, 25 goats, 34 chickens, four bearded dragons, nine dogs, four ducks and one peacock were seized. Their records indicate that many of the animals had painful injuries, were underweight, suffered with lice, some with tumors and a couple of the horses had hooves that had turned and rotated, a third horse was limping and had difficulty walking in its paddock. It was also discovered that only one bag of feed and a half bag of chicken scratch was found on the property to feed over 80 animals and no visible water present.
We want to ensure that this woman receives the appropriate sentencing and a ban on future animal care and ownership once she is found guilty after the investigation is complete, and you can help by signing and sharing this petition everywhere possible.
