I demand harsher punishments for the soulless, evil people who abuse, torture and kill innocent animals

I am a staunch animal lover and advocate for the innocent fur babies on our planet. Everyday, I read countless posts on Facebook regarding the torture and abuse of dogs, cats, farm animals by either people or industries who participate in this horrid abuse! I strongly believe that the penalties for these crimes are not harsh enough! We live in a world with so much hatred and evil against humanity. Animals, especially dogs and cats are currently being tortured and killed on a daily basis. Such horrific cruelty is unacceptable! So often, these offenders receive little, if any, jail time. This is not right!! I'm starting this petition to try to have stricter sentences imposed on these monsters! They need to be severely punished for such deplorable acts. The time has come to try to change or deter such inhumane acts against animals. I urge you to sign my petition! Thank you..
