Have Dan Reed removed from speaking at The Edinburgh International Television Festival 2019

Given the ongoing, extensive contradictions and credibility issues concerning his recent film "Leaving Neverland", I was shocked to learn that Dan Reed would be speaking at The Edinburgh International Television Festival about the future of "factual, feature documentaries with global appeal".

My concern is with the "factual" element. Dan Reed has proven himself to be a man of very little journalistic integrity, having freely admitted that he made no attempt what so ever to investigate or scrutinise the allegations made in his film (whether you believe them or not is irrelevant). I will not go into the specifics here, but I do urge you to take just five minutes to research the many, crucial flaws that have been discovered in the stories of the two subjects.

I strongly believe that a man lacking basic journalistic fundamentals should have absolutely no influence on the future of factual documentary film making, and should not be given a platform to speak at this event, or any other of it's nature.
