The cost of prescription medications is simply out of control with families like mine unable to afford the cost of prescription medications. The Prescription Drug Affordability Board is our state's best tool to lower drug prices, but Big Pharma is trying to destroy it and protect their profits by backing Senate Bill 60. Please vote NO on Senate Bill 60.
The PDAB is giving hope to so many Coloradans that we can finally lower drug prices. 71% of Coloradoans supported the board being created in 2021 because we know that this can actually work to bring down medication costs, but Senate Bill 60 would remove a bulk of the most expensive medications from being eligible for review and upper payment limits. This bill is a trojan horse that destroys the hope we have for Colorado to take control of drug costs.
This is Big Pharma doing what they always do – avoiding accountability while continuing to increase their profits by increasing costs for patients. This is just another giveaway to Big Pharma, so they can keep corporate profits high by avoiding accountability. Prescription drugs don't work if people cannot afford them.
Put the people first, not Big Pharma. Don't let Big Pharma play games by gutting Colorado's Prescription Drug Affordability Board. Vote NO on Senate Bill 60.
