Justice for Cats in Liberty

Please sign this petition to send a message to city officials in Liberty, MO.
By petitioning these officials we ask them to use a common sense approach to the free-roaming, unowned cat issue. We ask that they recognize that there is a difference between owning pet cats and taking responsible citizen action by doing what prior cat owners who abandoned their cats failed to do.      
We ask that officials begin by dismissing the charges levied against Annette Betancourt and that the ordinance that was used to levy these charges be redefined to exempt a person(s) whose actions prove to be aimed at humanely reducing the free-roaming street cat population via TNR. These individuals deserve to be supported for their efforts, not punished by ill--conceived  laws which should not apply to them in the first place.
