Feral hogs can be controlled by implementing a strict wildlife feeding prohibition and by employing exclusionary methods and repellents. If lethal control is insisted upon, hogs should be dealt with humanely, via cage-trapping and euthanasia. Please thank Sarasota County officials for considering less cruel options, and urge them to ditch feral hog hunting with dogs entirely!
