Drug Testing for Welfare Recipients

Mandatory drug testing for all Welfare recipients. Many employers now test for illegal drug use in prospective employees. Why shouldn't state Welfare programs adopt the same protocol? If someone is receiving benefits while on illegal drugs, they will unlikely become employed. Hence, Welfare to Work doesn't apply to those using illegal drugs. If you're on Welfare, don't use drugs!. Get into a treatment program or lose your Welfare checks!
